cost
hey all,
i was watching the movie "sherrybaby" this evening and began thinking about the question of cost. specifically in regard to this film the cost for the actress to appear naked and be abused/used by almost every man in the film, but also the question of cost in general. what does it cost when we enter fully into a piece of art?
i have begun to think about different roles that i have played or even just auditioned with and what each character has cost me...
any thoughts?

jess, this is really interesting. i saw sherrybaby at scarecrow, but haven't seen it yet.
i'm interested to hear more of your thoughts. cost is such a huge word, and one that i think creative folk know well. it seems cost is something constantly weighed, especially in the beginning of stepping into the creative process, and that it never ceases to be a part of creating. sounds like an interesting conversation to venture into together...
